Masayoshi Nakamura is a multidisciplinary visual artist who was born and raised in Nishinomiya, Japan, residential town near by Osaka.  After graduation of Nishinomiya high school, he moved to New York where he received his BFA in Graphic Design at School of Visual Arts.  Upon the graduation, he worked numerous both in broadcast station, and post production/design studios includes MTV, Spontaneous, Adolescent, Digital Kitchen, Nailgun, Newspeak, and Transistor studios. During that time, he established himself as an up-and-coming young artist: named by Print Magazine as one of New Visual Artists 2007, and by How magazine as one of 17 young creatives. He is also an occasional illustrator: he was selected to create the series of T-shirts as a part of Gap's (Red) artist tee in the summer of 2010.
Around 2008, he started collaborating with Magico Nakamura. They created "Reflection+" for Adobe Records competition "Now Creating…" in which they won the grand prize. "Hibi No Neiro" music video for Japanese indie band has been featured in numerous publications and film festivals includes Stash DVD, Motionographer, Boards magazine, Commercial Photo magazine, Kohkoku magazine, CG magazine, Onedotzero film festival, Hawaii International Film Festival, Portable film festival, International FIlm Festival Breda, Dotmov Film Festival, Reuters News, and won TDC Prize for Tokyo Type Directors Club, and the grand prize for Japan Media Art Festival, ONE SHOW / Best of Show & One show design Gold, ADC NY / Gold & Blonze,  Webby Award / Best of Editing, Tomorrow Award / Winner of Spring 2010, Annecy International Animated Film Festival / Best editing nomination & Music video honoree, CLIO AWARDS / Blonze, Youtube Video Award Japan / Winner of Music Video Category, Bornshorts / Winner of Music Video Category, Portable Film Festival / Grand Prize, Print in Motion / Winner of Music Video Category, UK Music Video Awards "Best Budget " category, London International Awards / Silver...etc.
And Magico and Masayoshi's director's duo Who-fu was selected Saatchi & Saatchi's New Directors' Showcase 2010.

兵庫県西宮市生まれ。アートディレクター/イラストレーター
NYのSchool Of Visual Artsにてグラフィックデザイン学科卒業後、MTV、Spontaneous, Digital Kitchen, Adolescent, Nailgun, Newspeak等でキャリアを積むかたわら、イラストレーターとしての活動でGAP(RED)のアーティストT等も手がける。Print Magazineの「New Visual Artists 2007」、How Magazineの「17 Young Creatives」等にて紹介。
2008年頃からNYでナカムラマギコと共同制作を始め、Adobe Recordsが主催する「Now Creating…」コンペティションにおいてグランプリを獲得(作品名「Reflection+」)。
その後、SOUR「日々の音色」のミュージックビデオを制作後、10カ国以上の世界各国のメディアに取材を受け、世界中の映画祭に招待作品として出品。また、数多くの賞を受賞。
