「ジェリー•スプリンガー」というテレビ番組にソニックユースのリー・ラナルドが「アーティストエディション」という事で出ていた。残念ながらどういう理由で彼が出ていたのかは分からなかったのであった。

The series of T-shirts' design for Gap's (RED) campaign. I was asked to design as a part of (RED) Artist Tee. They were distributed world wide and the money went to (RED) charity.

色々なイベントのために作ったフライヤーです。

There was a guy, who dressed in furry black/brown costume, as "garbage". It was a musical: lights went dim, and he started singing something like, "ah, I wonder if i was a 12 years old pretty little girl? but 12 years old pretty little girl won't probably wonder if she was me." Me and my friend were there, cracking up, then he started running toward 4 guys, dressed up as "4 winds" they tackled him down, and garbage truck came to pick him up and left the scene.

黒／茶色の着ぐるみを着た男は、「ゴミ」として出て来て、ミュージカルの様に歌い出した、 「私がちっちゃなかわいい女の子だったらどんなモノだろうと考えるけど、ちっちゃな女の子は私だったらどうだろう、とは考えないだろう」などとワケの分か らない歌を歌っているので、隣にいた友達と一緒に笑い転げていると、「４人の風」の着ぐるみをまとった四人組にタックルされるとゴミ収集車がやって来てそ の男を連れて行ってしまった。

I was playing Bob Dylan song "I want you" from "Blonde on Blonde" album, and lucky for me, i was also sporting Dylan afro from that "Blonde on Blonde" era. But somehow i had a capo real up high on fret board that i wasn't able to play it well: then it switched into where i was walking with really really tall shoes, like high above the sky, and going real fast too. I was worried how i'm gonna stop and go down to the ground becuase i was high up there: lucky for me, all i had to do was kneel down, and i was down there, but somehow I landed where people were playing soccer and i got hit by a ball..

ボブディランの「I want you」という「Blonde on Blonde」アルバムの曲をギターを弾きながら歌っていて、何と髪型まで、その頃のボブ•アフロになっているんだけど、何故かカポをフレットのメッチャ 高いトコロに付けててなかなか上手くギターが弾けない、と思っていると、巨大厚底靴を履いて空から地上を見ながらスゴいスピードで走っている事に早変わ り。あまりの早さに、落ちたら大変だと心配、しかし何故か運良く膝をちょっと倒しただけで、地上に到着！しかし運悪く降りた所でサッカーをやっていて、 ボールが顔面に直撃！

I had a dream that I invited Thurston Moore of Sonic Youth to the party because we goes to same school, or work at same place or something i don't remember now. So he came to the party and i was like, "hey Thurston, glad you made it"

夢の中でソニックユースのサーストンモーアをパティーに招待した。何故か彼と一緒の学校か仕事場が一緒かなんかという理由で知り合っていたりして．．そこでこの絵は、サーストンがパーティーに来ているのをみて、大声で呼びかけているところ。

昨日の夢は色々な場所と色々な人が出て来たけど、一番覚えているのは、何故か僕はヘンリーロリンズと戦う事になっていて、その為にと格闘家の友達にファイティングテクニックを伝授されているという夢だった。

In my dream the other night, i was in Berlin, or somewhere in Europe: I saw David Bowie, "the white thin duke" era and he was a vampire, so the police came to get him. I was looking at it thought to myself, "but.. that's David Bowie..."

I had a dream that I went into Chicago style pizza restaurant where i saw some people that i haven't seen for a long time. And then I realized it was Elton John's chicago pizza: which doesn't make sense since he is English and nothing to do with pizza either.

I had a dream where I was at Blimpie, and saw an old dog lady who was wearing a garlic bread hat with cheese, tomatoes, and olive.

夢の中でBlimpieにいたのだが、そこにおばさん犬がやってきた。彼女の頭にはガーリックブレッド製の帽子、チーズ、トマトとオリーブが乗っていた。

There was this "Full metal jacket" sergeant type of guy. and Queen's "We will rock you" was playing on repeat, and he kept trying to sell me "We Will Rock you" goods, such as a big flag says "We will rock you".

映画「フルメタルジャケット」に出て来た様な鬼教官がクイーンの「We Will Rock You」にのって現れて 「We Will Rock You」グッズ、この絵の旗みたいなグッズを僕に押し付けているという変な夢だった。

The other day I had a dream: I was a little kid with my friends from childhood. I went to one of my friend's house. He said, "hmm I'm hungry." and decided to eat this gigantic cup noodle:not only eat it but while soaked into it.

僕の子供の頃に戻っていて、子供の時の友達の家に遊びに行ったら、その子は「お腹がすいた。」と言って、巨大なカップヌードルを食べる事になった。しかも何故か食べるだけじゃなくて何とお風呂に入る様に入りながら食べていた。

At a baseball stadium-ish kind of place, this bratty kid was running around, and found Eisaku Yoshida( very famous in late 80s to early 90s actor, maybe equimbarent to Charlie Sheen or Emilio Estevez etc for Americans). So this kid started to mocking and slapped his face lightly. That really set Eisaku off: he started punching the kid repeatedly while saying, "I'm a celebrity!". People around them was in surprise, and tried to stop him, but he said, "He started it." so no one really could say anything after that.
It was a dream so I'm sure he isn't like that. Last time i saw him on TV drama, he was doing really well, so I kind of felt a guilt for having a dream like that.

野球場の様なところで、田舎の高校生が調子に乗って走り回っている。そこにいた吉田栄作の 肩に手を回して顔を軽くぺちっと叩いたりおちょくっていたところ、吉田栄作がブチ切れて「オレは芸能人だぞ！」と言いながらその高校生をグーで５回くらい なぐった。驚いたので、気づいた人が「ちょっと何してんですか？」と止めようとすると吉田栄作が「いや、コイツからやってきた」と言うので、皆、う〜んと なってしまった。言っておくが、これは夢なので勿論吉田氏はそんな事をする人ではないと思うのであしからず。昔ツッパっていたうんぬんは抜きにして、こな いだ久々に「だんだん」で観た時はとても良い感じの雰囲気を出していて、むしろこんな夢を見て彼に悪い気すらする。

I was with the band, the Strokes at some house sort of place. They asked me to jam with them, which was cool. But then they were gonna jam with like 200 more people, which made me worry about blowing up the electricity..

バンドのThe Strokesと一緒にいて、彼らが一緒にジャムらないかと誘われたので　オッケーと言ったところに、４－５人ではなく２００人くらいの人で一斉にジャムる事になっていて、絶対停電するよと思って心配になった。

I was at home with my brother, and he was sitting at his work desk. It seems like the whole desk was like some kind of a touch sensor controller. At first I thought he was gonna use Skype to call someone, but he started playing Nintendo "Metroid". I hought for some reason that "Metroid" was "unreasonably vertical scrolling Metroid".

家で兄と一緒に部屋にいて、兄が机に向かっていた。何故か知らんがその勉強机は液晶モニ ターのついた、そして机部分全体がタッチセンサーのコントローラーになっていた。最初兄はスカイプで誰かに電話でもするのかなと思ったら、ファミコンのメ トロイドをやり始めた。そして何故かしら僕はそれを見て、「理不尽な縦スクロールのメトロイドだ（メトロイドは横スクロールゲーム）．．」等と思ってい た。
